«From Granny to Trendy » workshops: Transferring innovative practice for adult women empowerment and active participation in society.

4. Introduction to the Granny to Trendy project objectives
-O1: Pilot the 12 sewing sessions of the Granny to Trendy workshops in Zaragoza, Spain that have been so successful in four Portuguese cities.
–O2: Improve competence of trainers that are already involved in Adult education. (1 facilitator + 3 other trainers)
–O3: Tackling adult women isolation and increase their well-being and active participation in society.
–O4: Involve students and young designers in the Granny to Trendy workshops: intergenerational exchange.
–O5: Emphasize on the IMF and «Granny to Trendy» circular and sustainable approach all activities.
5. Work package/ activities overview.
The activities contemplated are:
– Management and Implementation activities
– Pilot of «Granny to Trendy» workshops with the established 5 phase methodology.
The Phases will take place in two stages for their optimum implementation:
Activities in Stage I:
1) Diagnosis of the needs
2) Training of Monitors
Activities in Stage II:
3) Selection + enrolling of the 10 participants
4) Workshop implementation and
5) Evaluation
